What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and design package concept for customer controls
- 2Initiate and conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
- 3Prepare and track Engineering Change Work Orders for release documentation
- 4Develop design alternatives and present them to management
- 5Manage change requests and issue tracking processes
- 6Coordinate design of components with vehicle changes
- 7Analyze and revise designs for test manufacturing or field problems
- 8Drive validation test plans and prepare owner's manuals
- 9Represent engineering organization to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across GM and suppliers
- 3Ability to self-motivate and direct projects independently
- 4Hands-on vehicle experience and problem-solving proficiency
- 5Knowledge of design release systems and vehicle validation processes
