The Deputy Director of Environmental Health Services - Fiscal Officer leads the Environmental Health Services Division. This role oversees fiscal and administrative functions while supervising professional and clerical staff. The position requires a California REHS certification within 24 months. It includes coordinating interdepartmental services and providing complex guidance to the Director.

Requirements10
- 1Current California certificate as Registered Environmental Health Specialist or NEHA REHS credential
- 2Possess Letter of Eligibility if not holding California REHS certification
- 3Experience improving workflows implementing standard processes
- 4Experience championing technology to enhance systems monitor performance
- 5Expertise managing budgets monitoring revenues expenses recommending strategies
- 6Strong verbal written communication skills
- 7Experience interfacing with County Executive Leadership city officials elected officials
- 8Qualification: 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark Airflow
- 9Knowledge of environmental health principles organizational public administration financial administration
- 10Ability to plan organize direct coordinate evaluate environmental health functions
