What You'll Do9
- 1Assist doctors during restorative, crown, emergency, and other dental procedures using four-handed techniques
- 2Take and develop dental radiographs, following Radiology certification protocols
- 3Prepare treatment rooms and instruments, maintaining strict OSHA and infection-control standards
- 4Seat and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and clear communication
- 5Provide patient education and post-operative instructions, reinforcing oral health practices
- 6Document clinical procedures accurately in patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- 7Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized, anticipating doctor needs
- 8Communicate effectively with doctors and team members to coordinate patient flow
- 9Support the team with additional tasks to keep the day running smoothly
Requirements8
- 1Dental assisting experience, preferred but not required
- 2Radiology certification, required
- 3EFDA certification, preferred
- 4Ability to work a flexible schedule, including a 3-day work week option
- 5Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
