Delivery Manager - Evinova
Overview
Join Evinova, a health tech business part of AstraZeneca Group, to lead delivery of critical products in regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, manage cross-team technical dependencies, and drive AI-native processes. This is not a coordination role; you must engage directly with architecture and engineering to solve blockers and ensure high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Break complex cross-team initiatives into a technically coherent plan of work, sequencing delivery based on architecture and data flows
- 2Map and actively manage dependencies across engineering teams and external partners, resolving issues rather than logging them
- 3Lead architecture and design reviews to understand systems, services, and integrations, pressuring technical estimates and trade-offs
- 4Translate engineering realities into business outcomes for leadership decision-making
- 5Use AI tools like Claude and Copilot daily to generate status summaries and analyze delivery data
- 6Drive continuous improvement by leading retrospectives and implementing systemic changes
- 7Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define scope of done and align on technical feasibility
- 8Coordinate multi-functional teams across geographies, maintaining a unified view of portfolio status and risks
- 9Manage budgets, forecast variances, and support resourcing decisions with financial accountability
- 10Negotiate alignment between Development and Customer Implementation teams in professional manner
- 11Represent delivery in leadership forums with clarity and advocate for technical excellence
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in technical or engineering field
- 25+ years of experience in program or delivery management with complex multi-team software initiatives
- 3Proven track record in highly regulated environments with successful production deployments
- 4Demonstrable technical depth in software architecture, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- 5Hands-on background in software engineering or DevOps to break down technical work and own dependencies
- 6Practical experience using AI-assisted tools such as Claude or Copilot for workflow automation
- 7Experience managing matrixed teams and working globally across time zones
- 8Familiarity with GxP, ICH GCP, FDA 21 CFR, or GDPR standards in delivery contexts
- 9Global delivery experience across geographies with proven ability to lead remote teams
- 10Prior experience as software engineer, technical lead, or solutions architect in hands-on technical role
- 11Ability to manage delivery finances including budgets and forecasting
