Overview
You own safe, on-time delivery of automotive and industrial paint products to body shops and industrial facilities across the Boston region. You run daily routes with a company vehicle, verify orders against invoices, and ensure every shipment arrives in top condition. You represent the company at each stop, balancing speed with professionalism and accuracy. This contract role offers variety, with warehouse support during downtime and strong ties to local customer relationships.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive a company delivery vehicle on assigned routes, transporting paint products to body shops and industrial sites.
- 2Load and verify each order against invoices and packing slips to ensure accuracy before departure.
- 3Unload deliveries at customer locations, confirming products arrive in excellent condition.
- 4Log each delivery, track mileage, and maintain accurate delivery records daily.
- 5Inspect your vehicle each morning, reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
- 6Support warehouse operations by stocking, picking, and packing when your route is complete.
- 7Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including secure load handling.
- 8Represent Colours, Inc. with courteous, professional service at every customer stop.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 31+ years of route delivery experience required.
- 4Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical delivery tasks throughout the shift.
- 5Clear communication and strong customer service mindset.
- 6Punctual, dependable, and self-sufficient with daily schedules.
- 7Knowledge of local Boston delivery routes is a plus.
- 8Comfortable using handheld devices, routing apps, and digital delivery logs.
