Overview
You'll own the delivery experience for a high-volume Domino's store in the Los Angeles area, ensuring hot pizzas reach customers within 30 minutes. As a driver, you'll be the final link between the store and its customers, navigating busy streets and apartment complexes. What You'll Do10
- 1Drive to customer locations within the designated delivery area, using GPS or maps to find addresses efficiently.
- 2Deliver pizzas and other products to homes, multi-story buildings, and businesses, carrying up to 25 pounds.
- 3Process telephone orders, taking down customer information and payment details accurately.
- 4Stock ingredients from the delivery area to the storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, maintaining inventory levels.
- 5Prepare food items, including pizza dough, toppings, and sides, following company recipes and standards.
- 6Clean the store daily, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and washing dishes, ensuring a sanitary environment.
- 7Assist with couponing and promotional offers, explaining them to customers and upselling when appropriate.
- 8Handle adverse weather conditions and sudden temperature changes from the cooler to the oven area.
- 9Complete daily paperwork for inventory and sales, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- 10Maintain a safe driving record and a clean, insured vehicle for deliveries.
Requirements10
- 118+ years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting Domino's standards.
- 2Access to a reliable, insured vehicle for deliveries, with the ability to drive in all weather conditions.
- 3Ability to read maps and navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
- 4Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members over the phone and in person.
- 5Capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- 6Willingness to work in temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F+, including hot surfaces up to 500°F.
- 7Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
- 8Experience in food service or delivery preferred, but not required.
- 9Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
