Overview
You own the road and the doorstep, delivering hot pizzas to hungry customers across Sacramento. You are the face of Domino's Pizza on every drop, ensuring orders arrive fast and friendly. Our franchise supports your growth, with many drivers moving into management and ownership. This role offers flexible scheduling, part-time or full-time, that fits around school, friends, or a second job.
What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver pizzas and other products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, navigating GPS and maps to find addresses efficiently.
- 2Carry pizzas, beverages, and side items to customer doors, climbing stairs and navigating apartment complexes and multi-story buildings.
- 3Process phone and front-counter orders, entering them accurately into the POS system and handling cash and card payments.
- 4Prepare and portion ingredients for pizza assembly, including dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings, ensuring quality and freshness.
- 5Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk-in cooler, and workstations, rotating product to maintain FIFO.
- 6Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and dining areas throughout the day, maintaining a safe and hygienic store.
- 7Read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area, planning routes to minimize delivery times.
- 8Interact with customers at the door with a positive attitude, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- 9Perform daily temperature checks and record results, alerting management to any equipment failures.
- 10Support the team during peak hours by assisting with pizza making, oven tending, and order packing as needed.
Requirements10
- 10-1 years experience in customer service or delivery preferred, but we train the right person.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record meeting company standards.
- 3Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- 4Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (pizza ingredients, beverages, and delivery bags).
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs and uneven surfaces during deliveries.
- 6Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ near ovens.
- 7Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and make correct change.
- 8Verbal and written communication skills to take and process orders over the phone and in person.
- 9Navigational skills to read maps and find addresses within a designated area.
- 10Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
