Overview
You will own the delivery experience for Rainbow Pizza, a Domino's franchise with 60+ locations across South Texas, ensuring every pizza reaches customers fast and safe. You will operate from a single store, working alongside a tight-knit team of drivers and insiders who thrive on speed and accuracy. What You'll Do8
- 1Take incoming orders by phone and enter them into the POS system using a keyboard or touch screen.
- 2Prepare and stock ingredients from the delivery area to the workstations and walk-in cooler, maintaining a clean and organized store.
- 3Shape dough and assemble pizzas with precision, using a pizza cutter and pizza peel to manage the oven output.
- 4Label boxes and stage orders for delivery, verifying accuracy against the ticket.
- 5Load your personal vehicle with up to 50 pounds of pizza and drinks, then navigate to addresses using maps and GPS.
- 6Deliver orders across varied terrain and weather, maintaining safe driving habits and following traffic laws.
- 7Collect payments and make correct change using a calculator, and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- 8Clean equipment and facility daily, including ovens, prep tables, and floors, to meet health and safety standards.
Requirements9
- 1Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience (or 1 year if you are 19+, with learner's permit time counted).
- 2Must have valid auto insurance and your name listed as an insured driver on the policy.
- 3Must pass a criminal background check and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- 4Ability to lift and carry cases of ingredients up to 50 pounds from floor to shelves up to 72 inches high.
- 5Ability to stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and reach continuously during shifts, including work in 32°F cooler and 90°F+ store areas.
- 6Comfortable working in extreme outdoor temperatures from 0°F to 110°F, and in rain, snow, or wind.
- 7Strong verbal communication for taking phone orders and assisting customers face-to-face.
- 8Basic math skills to handle payments and make correct change.
- 9Ability to follow written instructions and navigate using maps to locate addresses efficiently.
