Delivery Driver, Pizza & Customer Service
Overview
You own the hot box: take orders, stack boxes, and run deliveries across your neighborhood in Dallas, TX. This role puts you on the road within your first week, handling 30-60 stops per shift with a reliable personal vehicle. What You'll Do10
- 1Take telephone orders and input them into the POS system with speed and accuracy.
- 2Prepare pizzas and sides, working the makeline and oven during peak rushes.
- 3Load delivery bags and verify each order against the ticket before hitting the road.
- 4Navigate neighborhoods using GPS or paper maps to hit delivery windows under 30 minutes.
- 5Collect cash and card payments, making correct change and handling tip reconciliation.
- 6Clean the store: wipe counters, sweep floors, and sanitize the makeline and prep areas.
- 7Stock ingredients from walk-in cooler to front line, rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- 8Complete end-of-shift paperwork: cash drops, mileage logs, and driver checklists.
- 9Assist with customer service at the counter, resolving complaints with a smile.
- 10Perform daily equipment checks, flagging issues with ovens or refrigerators to management.
Requirements10
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 21+ year of delivery driving or food service experience (preferred but not required).
- 3Access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance and current registration.
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry multiple pizza bags up stairs and curbs.
- 5Basic math skills to handle cash and make change without a calculator.
- 6Comfort with smartphone apps for order dispatch and navigation.
- 7Flexible availability: at least one shift per week, including evenings or weekends.
- 8Physical stamina to stand for 6-8 hour shifts in a hot kitchen environment.
- 9Good verbal communication for phone orders and face-to-face customer service.
