Overview
Deburr Technician at SmartTalent supports production operations in a quality-driven manufacturing environment. The position involves handling precision machined components, performing repetitive and detail-focused tasks, and ensuring work meets exact specifications and quality requirements.
What You'll Do8
- 1Complete assigned deburring tasks using work orders, standard work instructions, parts lists, blueprints, detail components, and process control documents.
- 2Independently set up and perform a broad range of deburring operations on complex parts, including part salvage, rework, blending cutter transitions, creating edge breaks, and blending to tight tolerance finish dimensions.
- 3Safely and effectively operate various deburring tools and equipment, including angle grinders, pencil grinders, rotary burr tools, cartridge rolls, files, Scotch-Brite, and buffing wheels.
- 4Use precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions and conformance.
- 5Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.
- 6Maintain a clean organized and efficient work area in accordance with company standards.
- 7Meet attendance expectations and maintain reliability throughout the work year.
- 8Perform additional related duties as assigned to support production needs.
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading production teams
- 3High school diploma or GED equivalent, or demonstrated ability to perform essential job duties
- 4Two or more years experience working with precision machined components
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 6Experience interpreting aerospace drawings and specifications
