Data Integrity Supervisor, Cal/OSHA & Data Quality
Overview
Oversee the Data Integrity Unit at Cal/OSHA, ensuring accuracy and security of the Cal/OIS database. Manage a team that reviews data for anomalies, updates records, and runs audits. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the Data Integrity Unit's planning, organization, and work completion.
- 2Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- 3Update information in Cal/OIS and streamline data collection and reporting procedures.
- 4Set validation policies to ensure database accuracy, security, and reliability.
- 5Fix workflow errors and run routine audits on Cal/OIS and software platforms.
- 6Brief Supervisor II and division management on productivity and effectiveness of Cal/OIS.
- 7Develop and implement data validation rules to detect and correct errors.
- 8Coordinate with other units to ensure data integrity across systems.
- 9Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to data quality.
- 10Ensure compliance with California Labor Code and data security policies.
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in data management, auditing, or supervision.
- 22+ years supervising staff in a data integrity or IT environment.
- 3Knowledge of data base design and logical data analysis.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat.
- 5Experience with project management and process improvement.
- 6Ability to work with large data sets and present findings to management.
- 7Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 8Knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations and California Labor Code preferred.
- 9Commitment to public service and workplace safety.
