Data Entry Clerk, Medical Device & ERP
Overview
You will own the daily order entry workflow for a medical device company that builds collagen-based scaffolds for tissue repair. In this onsite 6-month contract, you will manage a shared inbox, input orders into the ERP system, and coordinate shipping while covering team leaves. You will work within a small team of 5-10 people, reporting to the operations lead, with daily interaction with sales and customer service. This role offers a path to permanent employment for those who master QAD and show reliable output.
What You'll Do8
- 1Monitor the shared customer service inbox each morning and flag urgent order requests.
- 2Review incoming orders, organize them by priority, and assign unique order numbers.
- 3Enter order details into the ERP system (preferably QAD) with full accuracy.
- 4Retrieve product information from the system and coordinate fulfillment through the shipping module.
- 5Validate every order entry before finalizing to prevent shipment errors.
- 6Prepare and package orders, including generating and applying shipping labels.
- 7Process customer-submitted usage forms and support billing-related tasks.
- 8Collaborate with sales on order transfers or billing adjustments.
Requirements5
- 11+ year of customer service, data entry, or light accounting experience.
- 2Strong initiative and a go-getter attitude.
- 3Ability to learn independently and work autonomously.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5Experience with QAD or any large ERP is preferred but not required.
