Data Engineer, Healthcare Analytics & Interoperability
Overview
The Data Engineer will design build and maintain data pipelines data warehouses and data lakes to enable enterprise analytics across clinical operational and strategic initiatives at Mountain Park Health Center. They will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to modernize data architecture and support AI ML driven innovations in healthcare settings to strengthen interoperability. This role focuses on end-to end data delivery reliability and governance in a community focused healthcare organization.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources for analytics
- 2Develop and optimize real time and batch data workflows for predictive insights such as patient no show risk and population health across systems
- 3Establish data quality standards validation monitoring and governance frameworks
- 4Implement interoperability and data exchange using HL7 FHIR APIs SFTP and flat files to enable seamless data flow
- 5Collaborate with clinical operational and business teams to define predictive analytics use cases and ensure data architecture supports decision making
- 6Troubleshoot monitor and optimize data pipelines storage queries and performance
- 7Document technical approaches and communicate with both technical and non technical stakeholders
- 8Drive data governance metadata management and data definitions across enterprise datasets
- 9Provide reliable data access for internal customers and promote data trust and adoption
- 10Maintain regular attendance and support additional duties as needed
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in computer science Mathematics Engineering Healthcare Informatics or related field
- 2Five (5) years of IT experience
- 3Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud solutions and SQL Server tools including SSMS SSIS SSRS and T-SQL
- 4Three (3) years of experience with PowerBI or other BI tools
- 5Healthcare data experience and knowledge of HL7 FHIR API integrations
