Customer Service Representative, Consumer Finance
Overview
You'll own the full customer service cycle at a family-owned consumer finance company with 24 locations across North Carolina. You'll greet customers, process loan applications, take payments, and maintain cash drawers using the company's system software. You'll work directly with an Office Manager and report to an Area Supervisor. This role offers a 35-hour work week, quarterly bonuses based on office performance, and a chance to grow within a stable 60-year-old company.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet customers and answer telephones courteously, identifying yourself by name
- 2Take payments from customers and maintain the cash drawer
- 3Solicit business from new and existing customers
- 4Process loan applications using company system software
- 5Guide customers in filling out forms and file documents in customer folders
- 6Communicate with customers about loan application status and payment status
- 7Generate customer mailings and make daily bank deposits
- 8Market and sell ancillary products
- 9Maintain a safe, clean office environment
Requirements5
- 11+ year experience in consumer finance or as a cashier
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Current, valid driver's license
- 4Basic computer skills
- 5Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
