Customer Service Representative - BlueScope Buildings North America
Overview
Lead field issue resolution supporting Project Managers across Kansas City location. Own the lifecycle of field claims from initial builder reports through final resolution ensuring zero defect standards. Collaborate with Manufacturing Shipping and internal teams to drive efficient claim handling and documentation.
What You'll Do10
- 1Investigate field issues reported by Builders and resolve claims by reviewing plans specifications scope COGS job folders and clarifying details
- 2Work with Manufacturing and Shipping to complete parts orders process job adds shortages and errors using Compass and BSP
- 3Write change orders and ensure proper routing through business systems
- 4Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management to determine final resolutions
- 5Track and follow up on claim statuses document potential issues and provide backup information for submissions
- 6Complete claims analysis and develop training based on root cause findings
- 7Create field call tracking matrices for complex multi-phase projects
- 8Hold communication meetings with internal and external personnel to resolve claims
- 9Facilitate Builder communications throughout claims investigation and resolution process
- 10Maintain accurate documentation for all claims and support Project Managers with comprehensive information
Requirements5
- 1Associate or 2-year technical degree with 3 years related work experience
- 2Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Building practices including parts order entry and reading architectural and VPC construction drawings
- 3AutoCAD proficiency preferred
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 53-5 seasons of relevant experience
