Overview
Lead a team of framers at Michaels Stores in Wilmington, DE, driving custom framing sales and delivering high-quality solutions. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and coach a team of framers to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time, planning workload with the Store Manager.
- 2Drive custom framing sales by leading team selling behaviors and assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
- 3Achieve your KPIs and ensure the framing team meets their role KPIs through regular performance reviews and coaching.
- 4Manage inventory processes, including shrink prevention and safety programs, as assigned.
- 5Serve as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations and partnering with MODs daily on framing expectations.
- 6Interview, onboard, train, and develop new team members, supporting talent development and performance management activities.
- 7Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to meet standards and stay within budget.
- 8Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions, including supporting Omni channel processes.
- 9Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance and a safe environment.
Requirements8
- 1Basic computer skills required for point-of-sale and inventory systems.
- 2Previous custom framing experience preferred, including knowledge of framing materials and techniques.
- 3Retail management experience preferred, with a track record of leading sales teams.
- 4Experience leading a sales team with results-oriented coaching.
- 5Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
- 6Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
- 7Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
- 8Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a retail store setting.
