Retail Framing Manager, Custom Framing & Team Leadership
Overview
Lead a team of framers in a high-volume custom framing shop, driving sales growth while coaching team members to build lasting customer relationships. You own the framing department's performance, from production planning to inventory control. Collaborate with the Store Manager to execute company standards and achieve KPIs. What You'll Do10
- 1Coach and develop a team of framers to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time, using SOPs and company programs.
- 2Drive custom framing sales by modeling selling behaviors and networking with customers on the sales floor.
- 3Plan workload and production schedules in partnership with the Store Manager to meet customer deadlines.
- 4Manage the framing team's KPIs and your own, reviewing sales and production performance daily.
- 5Execute inventory management processes, including receiving and stocking, to maintain product availability and control shrink.
- 6Ensure the safety of team members and customers by following safety programs and maintaining a clean work environment.
- 7Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) to resolve customer issues and oversee store operations.
- 8Interview, onboard, and train new team members, supporting their development and performance management.
- 9Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to meet productivity standards.
- 10Handle omni-channel processes, including order pickups and deliveries, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements8
- 12+ years retail management experience leading a sales team, preferred.
- 21+ years custom framing experience, preferred.
- 3Basic computer skills, including the ability to use point-of-sale systems.
- 4Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- 5Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- 6Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with team members and customers.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent (required by company).
- 8Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and meet federal, state, and local requirements.
