- 5Conducts daily wound ostomy skin care rounds and monitors treatment effectiveness
- 6Assists technical staff with injections venipuncture drug administration and IV therapy
- 7Participates in performance improvement initiatives and nursing research
- 8Monitors compliance with HIPAA regulations during patient interactions
- 9Supports transport of critically ill patients and maintains accurate documentation
- 10Identifies community resources for patient self-management of chronic conditions
- 11Leads peer mentorship and contributes to professional development opportunities
Requirements10
- 1Associate Degree or higher in Nursing with graduation requirement within five years of position start date
- 2Current RN Diploma or equivalent license
- 3Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- 4Active Illinois State Nursing License
- 5One year of inpatient nursing experience
- 6Bachelor's Degree preferred with one year ICU or ER experience
- 7One year radiology nursing experience
- 8Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse or Certified Wound Care Nurse certification
- 9Comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular life support protocols
- 10Proficiency in ACLS and BLS certifications
