You will own the customer experience at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe location in Antioch, Nashville, delivering Unparalleled Hospitality with every smoothie and sandwich. You work on a small crew that runs the full front-of-house: taking orders, prepping ingredients, and keeping the cafe spotless. This role offers tips and a no-fryer kitchen, so you go home smelling fresh. You'll master the register, food safety, and smoothie artistry in a fun, upbeat environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet every customer with Tropitude, creating a positive atmosphere and delivering Unparalleled Hospitality in the first 90 days.
- 2Prep fresh ingredients for smoothies and food, following Tropical Smoothie Cafe standards for quality and consistency.
- 3Assemble and serve smoothies and food items, ensuring each order matches the brand recipe and presentation guidelines.
- 4Operate the register: take customer orders, handle cash accurately, and balance the drawer at end of shift.
- 5Maintain clean and organized workstations, dining room, restrooms, and kitchen using sanitation practices for food safety.
- 6Set up and monitor food and smoothie stations, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
- 7Follow all safety and security policies set by the brand, including proper food handling and storage.
- 8Support the crew by performing additional tasks necessary to keep the cafe running smoothly.
Requirements7
- 1Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.
- 2Ability to stand and walk continuously for shifts lasting 4-8 hours.
- 3Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds for stocking, refilling ice, and trash removal.
- 4Comfort with constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
- 5Ability to navigate safely in a fast-paced cafe environment and multi-task while staying positive under pressure.
- 6Willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- 7Compliance with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene policies.
