What You'll Do11
- 1Create and maintain a positive team environment
- 2Provide instructions corrections and motivation to crew members
- 3Apply best management practices for vegetation management
- 4Use chainsaws brushcutters augers and other equipment
- 5Conduct safe herbicide applications for invasive species
- 6Teach proper methods for planting bare-root live stake and containerized plants
- 7Identify common native and invasive plants in the Pacific Northwest
- 8Track data on crew time herbicides native plants acres restored and project materials
- 9Pack and transport work vehicles and move crew safely between sites
- 10Make independent decisions to improve safety efficiency and effectiveness
- 11Utilize Fieldmaps Quickbooks Workforce Google Suite and field software
Requirements10
- 1Communicate effectively with diverse groups
- 2Extensive knowledge of native and non-native plant species
- 3Experience with herbicide application and CPA license
- 4Perform up to 10 hours of physically demanding work daily
- 5Maintain strong spatial awareness and map reading skills
- 6Proficient in English speaking reading and writing
- 7Valid driver's license
- 8Experience with ecological restoration principles
- 9Ability to follow scheduling determined by weather and work needs

Salary Insight
$58 - $62k per year
