Credentialing Assistant
Overview
Credentialing Assistant supports IAAP's Certified Administrative Professional program and other credentialing initiatives. This role provides customer service processes applications maintains accurate records and supports credentialing operations. The position requires efficient handling of tasks and clear communication.
What You'll Do12
- 1Respond to customer service inquiries via phone email and other communication channels
- 2Provide accurate and timely information about CAP and other credentialing programs
- 3Assist candidates and designees with questions regarding application processes recertification and program requirements
- 4Process CAP applications efficiently and accurately reviewing application materials for completeness and compliance
- 5Communicate with applicants regarding missing information or additional documentation needed
- 6Recertification Support Process recertification applications for CAP designees tracking and verifying continuing education credits and professional development activities
- 7Database Management Perform regular data updates in the credentialing database ensuring accuracy and integrity of candidate and designee records
- 8Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed
- 9Collaborate on CAP communications including email notifications reminders and program updates
- 10Assist in preparing and distributing credentialing-related materials
- 11Provide administrative support for credentialing department initiatives and projects
- 12Contribute to the continuous improvement of credentialing processes and procedures
Requirements21
- 1CAP designation preferred; if not currently held must be earned within 18 months of employment
- 2Two years of previous administrative and customer service experience
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management
- 4Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 6Ability for up to 5 percent domestic travel
