Counter Sales & Hose Fabrication Associate

You will own the customer experience at the counter and drive hose fabrication for ARG Industrial, a 100% employee-owned supplier serving Everett, WA and beyond. You'll blend sales and production, processing orders and building hydraulic hoses to spec. Joining a tight-knit team, you'll work with SAP and Microsoft Office daily. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers and offer product recommendations, guiding them to the right hose and fitting solutions
- 2Process sales transactions and maintain inventory records using SAP and Microsoft Office
- 3Build hydraulic and industrial hoses with crimpers, saws, and measuring devices
- 4Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished assemblies
- 5Follow safety protocols to keep the warehouse and showroom hazard-free
- 6Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals and reduce turnaround times
- 7Organize the counter and shop floor so tools and products are easy to find
- 8Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues on the spot
Requirements8
- 11+ years in a customer-facing sales role, ideally in industrial or parts sales
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- 4Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM systems
- 6Solid math skills for measuring and calculating hose lengths and angles
- 7Attention to detail for accurate order processing and fabrication specs
- 8Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests (company is 100% drug-free)
