Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations to secure high value agreements with travel and event suppliers, maximize value, mitigate risk, and improve service performance. Influence travel and event strategy through data driven insights that improve policy effectiveness, increase program adoption, and strengthen visibility into spend, savings, and business outcomes. Build trusted partnerships across Finance, Human Resources, Safety and Security, and business leaders to ensure travel solutions align with organizational priorities, duty of care requirements, and evolving business needs. Champion continuous improvement and supplier accountability by establishing performance standards, monitoring results, and implementing enhancements that elevate quality, compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and launch a comprehensive global travel program that achieves measurable cost savings and elevates traveler satisfaction across all regions
- 2Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations to secure premium travel and event contracts while managing risk and optimizing service levels
- 3Develop data driven recommendations from travel and spend analytics to guide policy improvements and drive adoption of new solutions
- 4Establish and nurture partnerships with internal stakeholders including Finance HR Safety Security and executive leadership to align travel initiatives with corporate objectives
- 5Implement performance metrics and continuous improvement processes to enhance supplier accountability compliance and sustainability practices
- 6Manage complex multi stakeholder projects in a fast paced matrixed environment while maintaining focus on tangible business outcomes
- 7Utilize Microsoft Office suite and Copilot to analyze data transform insights and communicate findings effectively
- 8Support global or multi regional travel programs with deep knowledge of diverse travel regulations and supplier ecosystems
- 9Maintain strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable commercial and service agreements that deliver long term value
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Certified professional certification such as Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
- 3Experience supporting global or multi regional travel programs and navigating complex regional travel requirements
- 4Strong analytical abilities to convert travel and spend data into actionable recommendations
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Copilot
- 6Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 7Excellent communication relationship building and project management skills
- 8Understanding of ESG practices sustainability and diversity sourcing initiatives within travel and event procurement
