Overview
The Convention Service Manager at Crescent Hotels & Resorts leads daily coordination of conventions and meetings at The Bethesdan Hotel. What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain strong client relationships through direct communication with sales front office and reservations teams
- 2Coordinate department activities to service accounts including directing room service for VIP amenities
- 3Assign banquet and meeting rooms based on client needs and review associate work for accuracy
- 4Conduct walking site inspections and assist sales staff with room setup and exhibit arrangements
- 5Plan pre and post convention meetings detailing food and beverage requirements and AV needs
- 6Document group activity track records and generate account history reports
- 7Advise sales staff on client phone requirements and space fitting for booths
- 8Lead proactive sales approaches and strategic thinking to secure rebookings
- 9Perform walking site inspections throughout property and comply with attendance rules
- 10Communicate clearly verbally and in writing to direct staff
- 11Generate reports and maintain accurate data in computer systems
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of hospitality experience
- 3Expertise in AWS Certified solutions
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at intermediate level
- 5Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- 6Strong organizational skills for fast-paced environments
- 7Experience with Hilton Tapestry system
- 8Hospitality background with Hilton preference
- 9Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills
- 10Commitment to customer satisfaction and safety protocols
