Controls Technician JARBO
Overview
We seek a skilled customer focused Controls Technician to service maintain install troubleshoot electrical controls and process instrumentation in water and wastewater applications. This hands on field role supports independent problem solving and customer assistance in a fast paced environment. The Controls Technician works on pump control systems VFDs soft starters specialty controllers electrical panels and process instrumentation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Independently service and maintain electrical controls equipment used in water and wastewater industries.
- 2Install start up calibrate and troubleshoot process instrumentation such as flow meters pressure transmitters level temperature and analytical devices.
- 3Perform startup troubleshooting retrofits repairs and maintenance on pump control systems including across line starters soft starters variable frequency drives and specialty pump controllers.
- 4Complete electrical wiring conduit installation control panel setup and service entrance equipment work.
- 5Assist with planning installing repairing and troubleshooting new or modified electrical systems.
- 6Diagnose equipment issues and provide timely professional field service support to customers.
- 7Serve as Emergency Field Service Responder traveling outside normal business hours when required.
- 8Maintain clear communication with customers team members and leadership regarding project status repairs and service needs.
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow.
- 23-5 seasons of experience in electrical controls or process instrumentation.
- 3High school diploma or GED required.
- 4Technical education in mechanics electronics electrical systems or related field is preferred.
- 5Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems.
- 6Experience with pump controls VFDs soft starters or related electrical equipment is preferred.
- 7Ability to work overtime respond to emergency service needs and travel as required.
- 8Strong communication organizational and customer service skills.
- 9Proactive dependable and willing to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- 10Basic proficiency with Gmail Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Salary Insight
$52 - $77k per year
