Overview
We seek a Contracts Manager to lead contract formation for our Texas division. This role drafts and manages agreements with owners subcontractors and partners. You will collaborate with executives and legal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments and has deep construction industry expertise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist executives and legal counsel in drafting and reviewing contracts using AIA software
- 2Prepare GMP amendments and post-execution documentation
- 3Negotiate professional services agreements with consultants
- 4Analyze contract terms to identify legal and operational risks
- 5Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues
- 6Maintain contract workflows and ensure stakeholder follow-up
- 7Serve as liaison between internal teams and third parties
- 8Provide guidance on contract templates and document packages
- 9Participate in project kickoffs to communicate contractual obligations
- 10Develop standardized contract administration processes
- 11Train staff on contract management best practices
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2Minimum 5 years experience in contract management or construction law
- 3Strong understanding of construction contracts and terminology
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Experience with AIA or ConsensusDocs contract forms
- 6Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- 7Background screening required after offer acceptance
