What You'll Do5
- 1Provide support to procurement teams implementing innovative techniques to lower entry barriers for small innovative non-traditional contractors and shorten time to award.
- 2Lead strategic procurement innovation initiatives and develop training for webinars and workshops on procurement innovations.
- 3Offer expert guidance on evaluations proposal negotiation and contract documentation preparation within applicable laws.
- 4Serve as primary coach managing contract planning execution administration and termination of complex contracts using GSA schedules and negotiation procedures.
- 5Conduct background investigations and ensure reliability for this moderate risk public trust position.
Requirements6
- 1U.S. citizenship and Selective Service registration if male born after 12/31/1959.
- 2Pass background investigation and drug test.
- 3Submit transcripts showing 4-year bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in relevant fields.
- 4Complete mandatory agency training and gain 4 years contracting experience with 1 year specialized experience.
- 5Hold FAC-C or DoD Contracting Professional certification for selective placement factor.
- 6Demonstrate specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 or GS-13 through resume details.
Salary Insight
$122 - $187k per year
