What You'll Do9
- 1Provide patient education from admission to discharge covering medical plans medications and procedures
- 2Document patient responses and outcomes in electronic health records
- 3Initiate referrals to healthcare providers based on patient needs
- 4Administer medications accurately following physician orders
- 5Respond to unit and hospital code situations
- 6Ensure safe patient care for those requiring oxygen support
- 7Assist physicians with bedside procedures
- 8Manage patient admissions transfers and discharges professionally
- 9Verify and sign off physician orders obtain lab specimens and evaluate nursing care plans
Requirements5
- 1Registered Nurse RN license with Basic Life Support CPR Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support OR Trauma Nurse Course Certified
- 2Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs
- 3Fluent English reading writing and communication skills
- 4Associate degree in Nursing with relevant field of study
- 5Two years of acute hospital nursing experience
