Overview
Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle for a New York based retail services organization, supporting the legal team on a temporary basis. You will create, red-line, and negotiate commercial contracts, driving deals to closure. Collaborate closely with legal and business stakeholders to streamline workflows. What You'll Do6
- 1Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs and vendor agreements, within the first 30 days.
- 2Manage the contract management process from intake to execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- 3Red-line contract terms to protect company interests while maintaining business relationships.
- 4Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary approvals and negotiate terms.
- 5Maintain contract databases and track key milestones and renewals.
- 6Support the legal team in resolving contract disputes and escalations.
Requirements5
- 15+ years of experience negotiating commercial contracts.
- 2Strong familiarity with contract management systems and workflows.
- 3Experience supporting a legal team in a similar organization.
- 4Ideally local to NYC, but remote candidates who can hit the ground running are acceptable.
- 5Familiarity with Salesforce or Agiloft is a plus.
