Consultant, Agile Leader
Overview
Nationwide seeks a dynamic individual to lead Agile software development for the Sales Data Mart within P&C Technology. This hybrid role requires driving delivery excellence and removing impediments to enable business outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Monitors agile software development line progress using historical data to achieve iteration goals
- 2Leads agile line to deliver high-quality solutions
- 3Removes impediments to development team progress and escalates obstacles requiring outside resolution
- 4Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
- 5Collaborates to prioritize work maximizing business value
- 6Guides Agile Team(s) on analysis design development testing automation and deployment
- 7Facilitates team cadences such as retrospectives and daily standups
- 8Reports to Technology Manager/Director
- 9Coaches and mentors team members on Agile practices and principles
- 10Identifies risks and provides thought leadership on mitigation strategies
- 11Acts as liaison between stakeholders and development teams
Requirements11
- 1Undergraduate degree in computer science management information systems mathematics or related field
- 2Agile certification (CSM SAFe SSM PSM) and proven multi-team experience
- 3Six years Agile experience including three years as Agile Leader
- 4Technical background in Software Engineering
- 5Three or more years with ALM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- 6Industry knowledge in insurance or financial services
- 7Leadership abilities strong communication conflict resolution and mentorship skills
- 8Ability to manage multiple demand streams and stakeholders
- 9Experience with Data and associated technologies including Databricks Informatica and Teradata
- 10Six years experience in Agile including Scrum Kanban and Lean practices
- 11Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers
