Overview
Owns safety administration and AZ811 coordination for heavy civil projects in a fast-paced onsite environment. Supports recordkeeping, training, audits, and utility locate requests to keep projects compliant and safe. Works with field crews, supervisors, and management to resolve conflicts and maintain organized HSE documentation. This role stands out by combining safety administration with active utility locating coordination on site.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain HSE records for employees, projects, and trainings with audit-ready documentation
- 2Coordinate OSHA, first aid CPR, excavation, and job-specific training and track expirations
- 3Manage AZ811 locate requests, track tickets, responses, and utility conflicts
- 4Prepare HSE reports and compliance information for management and assist internal/external audits
- 5Escalate unresolved utility conflicts and assist with incident, near-miss, and property damage documentation
Requirements5
- 11+ year experience in heavy civil construction or safety administration
- 2Experience with AZ811 or utility locating coordination preferred
- 3Experience maintaining employee training and certification records
- 4Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and HSE practices
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn safety, training, utility locating, and project management systems
Salary Insight
$37 - $46k per year
