Construction Project Manager leads planning, coordination, and execution of steel fabrication projects from award to completion with a focus on profitability, safety, and client satisfaction. What You'll Do10
- 1Build project plans and ensure profitability and schedule adherence from award through project closeout
- 2Oversee material take-offs, detailing, erection labor, buyouts, freight, and overall project execution to meet milestones
- 3Collaborate with detailing subcontractors to ensure accurate submittals and fabrication drawings
- 4Review bid drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities
- 5Develop project strategy to maximize gross margin and maintain client relationships
- 6Coordinate schedules across customers, subcontractors, detailing, purchasing, fabrication, and erection teams
- 7Create, track, and follow through on change orders to minimize scope creep
- 8Facilitate Iron-Strong Expectation meetings with new jobs to align stakeholders
- 9Maintain customer relationships and manage long-lead schedules for critical milestones
- 10Enforce safety guidelines and company standards across shop and field teams
Requirements5
- 1Valid Arizona driver’s license
- 2Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 33–5 years of experience as a project or construction manager
- 4Preferably in the Steel Industry
- 5Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract documents, and project management strategies
Salary Insight
$70 - $100k per year
