Computer Analyst I Charles County Public Schools
Overview
The Computer Analyst I will own and manage data processing systems at a large educational institution. This full-time exemption role requires one to three years of progressive technical experience. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives that improve network performance and support staff.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement solutions for Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Windows Workstation versions 10 and newer
- 2Configure and maintain data communications hardware and software across the district
- 3Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide diagnostic analysis
- 4Develop and enforce technology standards and security policies
- 5Monitor network performance and respond to emergency duty assignments
- 6Prepare detailed reports on system status and user support activities
- 7Collaborate with instructional leaders to integrate technology into teaching
- 8Manage inventory of IT equipment and track work completed
- 9Ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations for sensitive information
- 10Maintain accurate records of all technical work and resolutions
- 11Provide technical assistance for PARCC and other online assessments
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2One to three years of progressively advanced technical experience
- 3Valid driver’s license or commercial driver’s license
- 4Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-50 pounds
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 7Proficiency with IT testing equipment and materials
- 8Good vision including close distance and peripheral vision
- 9Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels
- 10Experience working in LAN/WAN rooms and wiring closets
- 11Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS
