Compounding Technician, Pharmacy & Animal Health
Overview
pharmacy technician role focused on creating customized medications for animals and ensuring accuracy in compounding processes. Work with a team dedicated to safety and continuous improvement. Located onsite in Chandler, AZ with a Monday–Friday night shift. This position emphasizes precision, documentation, and collaboration to support animal health across the country.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following compounding formulas to produce safe medications
- 2Measure and weigh ingredients with precision using lab equipment
- 3Operate blending and lab production equipment to create batches
- 4Maintain batch documentation and production records for traceability
- 5Perform quality checks to ensure product accuracy and compliance with procedures
- 6Keep workstations clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- 7Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- 8Ensure medications are produced safely, accurately, and on time
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Certified Pharmacy Technician license through the AZ State Board of Pharmacy
- 3Experience in fast-paced environments preferred
- 4Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- 6Basic math skills including averages, ratios, and measurements
