Overview
The Compliance Manager owns full regulatory, landlord, financial, and internal compliance across all airport operations at BNA, ensuring certifications, audits, badging, and cash controls meet standards. They serve as the primary liaison between airport authorities and internal teams, mitigating risk and driving accountability across every unit. This role manages a complex web of compliance requirements, from TABC alcohol service to Clover merchant services, with a focus on timely reporting and corrective action. The position offers the chance to make a direct impact on operational integrity in a high-stakes airport environment, with a competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000.
What You'll Do8
- 1Attend required meetings with airport, landlord, TSA, or governing representatives and communicate compliance updates to leadership.
- 2Maintain an active Alcohol Service certification and oversee all alcohol compliance documentation, including invoices, inventory counts, and incident reports.
- 3Conduct routine inventory reviews to ensure accuracy and vendor compliance, and support top-item reporting for consistency between physical counts and system data.
- 4Track all audit scores and ensure corrective actions are documented and completed within required timelines.
- 5Verify staffing levels across all airport locations and coordinate resolution of facility issues, ensuring units meet operational standards.
- 6Oversee daily and weekly deposit processes, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation for all airport units.
- 7Manage and document change orders, serve as the primary contact for Clover merchant services, and investigate chargeback claims.
- 8Maintain the Compliance Tracker as the single source of truth for certifications, audits, cash controls, and reporting deadlines.
Requirements6
- 13-5 years of experience in airport operations, compliance, administration, or hospitality management.
- 2Strong understanding of airport authority compliance, alcohol regulations, food safety, and HR documentation.
- 3Proven experience with cash handling, deposits, variance investigation, and POS systems (Clover preferred).
- 4High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- 5Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external authorities.
- 6Proficiency with compliance trackers, reporting tools, and administrative systems.
