Security Specialist, Nightlife & Events in Nashville
Overview
You own safety for guests, celebrities, VIPs, and staff at Nashville's top entertainment venues. You enforce crowd control, prevent theft, and de-escalate conflicts in a high-volume nightlife atmosphere. You work Thursday through Sunday, adapting to shifting priorities and large crowds. This role stands out with a $200 sign-on bonus, paid training for First Aid certifications, and direct placement at venues like Luke's 32 Bridge and Jason Aldean's Kitchen.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead by example in guest interactions, maintaining a visible security presence across the venue floor.
- 2Drive the safe removal of guests when directed by authorized personnel, using calm and assertive communication.
- 3Respond to emergencies with composure and focus, coordinating with team members and venue management.
- 4Adapt to multiple assigned posts within a single shift, adjusting to crowd flow and venue needs.
- 5Enforce venue policies and state laws, ensuring compliance with all security protocols.
- 6Protect property and guests from theft and altercations, using observation and proactive intervention.
- 7Communicate clearly with staff and guests, projecting your voice across the floor for all to hear.
- 8Deliver superior guest service while maintaining non-tip eligibility compliance.
Requirements8
- 121+ years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Ability to obtain all state required work cards, including the Unarmed Security Guard License
- 3Working knowledge of state and local laws for nightlife and daylife venue operations
- 4Capability to stand and patrol for extended periods, in small spaces with 3ft access
- 5Comfortable working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with schedules exceeding 30 hours
- 6Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and adherence to company policies and appearance standards
- 7Effective written and verbal communication skills, with clear voice projection
- 8Eligibility to work in the United States with proof of authorization
