Community Banking Associate - Clarkstown
Overview
Join Journey Bank as a Full-Time Community Banking Associate in Clarkstown. You will own customer interactions, manage deposits and payments, sell treasurer checks, accept loans, process deposits, and ensure regulatory compliance. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- 2Accept deposits cash checks and process utility bill payments
- 3Sell treasurer checks money orders and other bank products
- 4Accept loan payments safe deposit box rent and related payments
- 5Process night deposits and mail deposits
- 6Maintain awareness of new business opportunities and refer customers
- 7Cooperate with internal policies to support risk management and safety
- 8Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act CRA and Equal Credit Opportunity Act
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with specialized banking education or training
- 2Previous banking or customer service experience preferred
- 3Moderate reading writing and math skills along with analytical abilities
- 4Professional courteous communication skills
- 5Proficient eye-hand coordination and ability to operate office machines
- 6Ability to lift approximately 50lbs and hold a valid driver's license
- 7Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
