Community Accountant Orlando CA Payroll
Overview
The Community Accountant leads monthly financial reporting for HOA and condo associations in Orlando. Owns preparation of financial statements balances sheets and income statements while delivering service aligned with Castle Royal Service. Collaborates across departments and with external clients. Closes with unique value proposition.
What You'll Do11
- 1Reviews invoices for documentation and approval before processing
- 2Prepares Balance Sheet and Income Statements with variance analysis and explanations
- 3Conducts monthly bank reconciliations for each bank account
- 4Maintains prepaid expense and insurance schedules
- 5Develops accrued expense schedules and supporting balance sheet schedules
- 6Analyzes subsidiary ledgers for accuracy
- 7Creates journal entries and year-end entries as directed by CPA
- 8Interacts with board members property managers and support staff
- 9Completes special projects as needed
- 10Assists with vendor and invoice reconciliation
- 11Collects monthly rentals processes deposits runs delinquency reports and sends notices
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s in Business Administration with Accounting or Finance concentration preferred
- 2Minimum three years full cycle financial statement preparation experience
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer focused relationships
- 4Ability to work under tight deadlines using effective time management
- 5Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
- 6Experience with accounting software and Adobe Reader Writer a plus
- 7English proficiency required; additional languages desirable
- 8Physical ability to lift five pounds and sit for extended periods
- 9Familiarity with property navigation systems
