Overview
You will apply interior and exterior paints, acrylics, alkyds, stains, and epoxies on commercial construction projects across Washington, DC. You will prepare surfaces, operate spray equipment, and coordinate with project managers and general contractors. You will work at heights using boom lifts, scissor lifts, and ladders with proper safety gear. Earn $20-$30 per hour based on experience, with full benefits and retirement matching.
What You'll Do7
- 1Apply interior and exterior paints, acrylics, alkyds, stains, and epoxy coatings to commercial surfaces.
- 2Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, priming, and masking before coating application.
- 3Set up, operate, and maintain spray equipment, rollers, and brushes for precise finishes.
- 4Follow project specifications, safety protocols, and PCA industry standards on every job.
- 5Coordinate with project managers and general contractors to meet project timelines.
- 6Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
- 7Work at heights on boom lifts, scissor lifts, and ladders with proper safety equipment.
Requirements8
- 1Commercial painting experience applying paints, stains, and coatings.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- 3Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a level-1 security clearance.
- 4Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work with hands.
- 5Comfortable working at heights on boom lifts, scissor lifts, and ladders.
- 6Reliable transportation and full-time availability Monday through Friday.
- 7Strong work ethic, coachable, and eager to learn.
- 8Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
