What You'll Do10

  • 1Read blueprints circuit diagrams and technical documents
  • 2Measure cut and bend wires and conduits using measuring instruments and hand tools
  • 3Connect wires to circuit breakers transformers or other components
  • 4Assemble install test or maintain electrical components equipment or systems
  • 5Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools
  • 6Place conduits pipes or tubing in designated areas and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits
  • 7Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches for conduits or moving heavy objects
  • 8Inspect electrical units for proper connections and insulation using hand tools
  • 9Remove electrical equipment replace defective or worn parts and reassemble equipment using hand tools
  • 10Direct and assist less experienced employees as needed

Requirements7

  • 1Experienced Mechanics Apprentices with at least 2 years of experience in single and three phase power
  • 2Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position
  • 3Ability to speak read and write English
  • 4Availability to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
  • 5PPE and own basic tools required for the trade
  • 6Reliable transportation
  • 7Good attitude and work well with others
