What You'll Do10
- 1Read blueprints circuit diagrams and technical documents
- 2Measure cut and bend wires and conduits using measuring instruments and hand tools
- 3Connect wires to circuit breakers transformers or other components
- 4Assemble install test or maintain electrical components equipment or systems
- 5Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools
- 6Place conduits pipes or tubing in designated areas and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits
- 7Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches for conduits or moving heavy objects
- 8Inspect electrical units for proper connections and insulation using hand tools
- 9Remove electrical equipment replace defective or worn parts and reassemble equipment using hand tools
- 10Direct and assist less experienced employees as needed
Requirements7
- 1Experienced Mechanics Apprentices with at least 2 years of experience in single and three phase power
- 2Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position
- 3Ability to speak read and write English
- 4Availability to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
- 5PPE and own basic tools required for the trade
- 6Reliable transportation
- 7Good attitude and work well with others
Salary Insight
$58 - $67k per year
