Commercial Account Manager Phoenix | P&C License
Overview
Own a book of commercial accounts at a well-established insurance firm, managing renewals and client relationships without cold calling. You will handle the full renewal cycle, negotiate with carriers, and cross-sell products to grow accounts. The role is in-office in Phoenix, with fully employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits and a 401(k). You report Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and work with a supportive team.
What You'll Do5
- 1Manage the full renewal process for each commercial line account, scheduling meetings, reviewing policies, and consulting on changes.
- 2Prepare quotes and estimates for new business opportunities, re-market accounts to carriers, and bind coverages.
- 3Cross-sell and up-sell products to existing clients, writing new business from referrals and inbound leads without cold calling.
- 4Negotiate with carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- 5Process certificates of insurance and policy endorsements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements5
- 13+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
- 2Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- 3Candidates residing within 30 minutes of the office are preferred.
- 4Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and renewals independently.
- 5Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
