What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare legal documents such as demand letters, complaints, motions, and settlement agreements
- 2Retrieve and analyze client documents to ensure accuracy for legal filings
- 3File legal documents with the court using proper methods
- 4Maintain calendar of pending hearings and prepare attorneys for sessions
- 5Communicate with clients and attorneys regarding case status and negotiations
- 6Record all client communications in the firm's internal case management system
- 7Serve as backup to colleagues and resolve issues as they arise
- 8Work with attorney and client to draft and maintain documents
- 9Manage evidence collection and document imaging processes
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum 6 months legal office experience or 2 years non-legal office experience
- 3Associate’s Degree or 60 undergraduate credit hours
- 4Paralegal certification preferred
- 5Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- 6Strong data entry and word processing skills
- 7Eligibility to work in the United States
- 8Ability to work in professional office environment
