Overview

CNC Mill Machinist will own setup and production of high quality components at scale in a Mansfield TX facility. You will read engineered drawings, verify tools and gage calibration, and perform autonomous maintenance while following proven processes. This role supports energy, defense, aerospace, and heavy industries with a focus on quality and safety. You will collaborate with a direct supervision model and contribute to continuous improvement on cycle times and tool life data.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and inspect parts to specifications and meet production standards
  • 2Design and execute in-process inspections and ensure part conformity
  • 3Read QAP documentation and confirm up-to-date revisions and calibration
  • 4Verify tooling and gauging presence and accuracy before starting work
  • 5Double check measuring equipment against known standards
  • 6Evaluate cutting tool performance and tool life data
  • 7Learn operation of CNC machining center and develop process improvements
  • 8Identify and report machine faults, material issues, and drawing discrepancies
  • 9Assist with maintenance tasks and ensure clean, safe work area
  • 10Meet production deadlines while managing priorities and safety policies

Requirements10

  • 1High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC milling machines with live tooling capabilities
  • 3Technical program certificate or degree preferred
  • 4Basic PC skills preferred
  • 5Siemens control experience preferred
  • 6Familiar with precision tools incl Calipers Micrometers Gauges
  • 7Ability to read G and M code and blueprints
  • 8Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • 9Punctual reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
  • 10Weekend schedule: Fri–Sun 6:00am–6:30pm with 5% premium
