- 2Coordinate machine assignments and labor resources to maximize productivity
- 3Prioritize and sequence jobs to ensure on-time delivery
- 4Monitor production performance and identify efficiency improvements
- 5Troubleshoot machining programming and production issues
- 6Foster teamwork and maintain a safe collaborative environment
- 7Maintain knowledge of machining processes and equipment
- 8Collaborate with department leads to achieve production goals
- 9Monitor tooling and inventory needs and obtain pricing quotes
- 10Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards
- 11Communicate shift updates and production concerns
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Minimum of 4 years CNC machining experience
- 3Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers
- 4Proficiency with Fanuc and Okuma CNC controls
- 5Strong understanding of machining processes and blueprint interpretation
- 6Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- 7Strong communication and leadership skills
- 8Experience with precision inspection equipment
- 9Ownership of basic machinist tools
- 10Previous mentoring experience for machinists
