What You'll Do7
- 1Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to machine precision components per job specifications.
- 2Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes and tolerances.
- 3Input and adjust machine programs using Fanuc controls, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
- 4Inspect finished parts with micrometers and calipers to meet strict quality standards.
- 5Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
- 6Troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues to minimize downtime.
- 7Maintain a clean, safe workspace and document production runs and machine performance.
Requirements6
- 11+ years recent, consecutive experience operating and setting up CNC Lathe machines, ideally on Doosan Puma 2600 SY2.
- 2Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
- 3Familiarity with CNC interfaces and Fanuc controls.
- 4Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for long periods, and maintain high manual dexterity.
- 5Basic math skills, computer and mobile device use, and English communication for workplace safety.
- 6Applicants should have held prior jobs for 2-3 years with good references.
