CMM Programmer, PC-DMIS for Aerospace & Defense
Overview
Own and optimize CMM inspection routines for high precision aerospace components with PC-DMIS on first shift. You will build programs from CAD models and legacy blueprints, perform FAI, and continuously improve methods and fixturing in a tight-tolerance environment. You’ll work with engineers and machinists to ensure aerospace quality standards are met and contribute to ongoing process improvements in a hands-on, onsite role.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build inspection programs from CAD models and GD&T using PC-DMIS
- 2Optimize offline and on-machine CMM routines to reduce cycle time and scrap
- 3Perform First Article Inspections and document results for aerospace programs
- 4Troubleshoot dimensional issues with machinists and engineers and implement corrective actions
- 5Improve inspection methods, fixturing, and measurement strategies across programs
- 6Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer specifications
Requirements5
- 13+ years of CMM programming experience with PC-DMIS
- 2Experience with offline programming from CAD models
- 3Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- 4Experience in tight-tolerance or precision machining environments
- 5Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
Salary Insight
$62 - $83k per year
