Overview
Morgan & Morgan seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen its Microsoft-centered security program. The ideal candidate will lead detection response automation, tenant hardening, and security governance while collaborating across technical teams and leadership. This hands-on role focuses on improving threat detection and reducing attack surfaces.
What You'll Do11
- 1Detect and Respond Engineer, tune and operate detections across Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel using KQL queries and analytics rules
- 2Tenant and Endpoint Hardening Lead and execute M365 tenant hardening initiatives across the E5 stack
- 3Administer and harden endpoint security through Defender for Endpoint and Intune focusing on compliance and attack surface reduction
- 4Security Automation and Vulnerability Management Build automation solutions using Logic Apps PowerShell and Azure Functions
- 5Own vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking in partnership with IT and infrastructure teams
- 6Secure Azure infrastructure applying cloud security best practices and configure Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance
- 7Strengthen identity and access management practices including least-privilege enforcement and access reviews
- 8Secure AI and AI agents addressing data exposure and confidentiality concerns within a legal environment
- 9Manage application security assessments and lifecycle oversight to retire risky applications
- 10Design and implement security controls for AI and agent-based workloads
- 11Participate in scheduled after-hours changes as needed
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience securing AWS or GCP environments
- 35+ years experience designing security controls for AI and agent-based workloads
- 45+ years experience securing Azure infrastructure
- 53-5 years experience with Microsoft Purview and IAM solutions
- 64-7+ years as a Security Engineer in a large multi-state organization
- 7Education and experience in a law firm or similarly regulated environment
- 8Demonstrated experience with identity and access management systems such as Entra ID Conditional Access
- 9Proven track record of communicating security posture and incident findings to technical and leadership teams
