Overview
iQuasar seeks a Cloud Application Engineer to design secure backend systems AI/ML infrastructure and cloud-native development for TRABUS programs. This hands-on technical role spans backend engineering DevSecOps and MLOps within secure DoD environments collaborating with data scientists and cybersecurity teams to build scalable compliant systems.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and develop APIs and backend services using Python FastAPI GraphQL and REST
- 2Build data ingestion pipelines and data models for geospatial time-series and large datasets
- 3Develop scalable cloud and serverless applications on AWS GovCloud Azure Government and DigitalOcean
- 4Integrate backend systems with AI/ML models and analytics workflows
- 5Support ML tools frameworks such as MLflow Kubeflow TensorFlow PyTorch and Hugging Face
- 6Operationalize ML models in containerized and GPU-enabled environments
- 7Implement secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning using Terraform Ansible Helm and Kubernetes
- 8Maintain compliance with RMF STIGs NIST 800-53 and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- 9Build secure architectures in AWS GovCloud Azure Government or DoD cloud
- 10Collaborate with data scientists engineers and cybersecurity teams to create high-performing scalable systems
- 11Drive automation and DevSecOps practices to ensure continuous delivery and security

- 1Active Secret Security Clearance
- 2Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering IT Data Science or related field
- 32+ years combined experience in backend engineering DevOps or infrastructure engineering
- 4Strong experience with Python Bash SQL NoSQL APIs FastAPI GraphQL REST Docker Kubernetes Git GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins Terraform Ansible Helm Linux/Unix systems DoD cybersecurity practices
