Clinical Recruiter, Healthcare & Veterinary Staffing
Overview
As a Clinical Recruiter at COVE Animal Health, you will own full-cycle recruitment for clinical support staff across our 60+ emergency, specialty, and primary care hospitals in six states. You will manage 20-30 open requisitions simultaneously, partnering with hiring managers to fill critical roles within 30 days. You will work with a close-knit HR team and report to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This role stands out because it combines high-volume staffing with strategic employer branding, including building relationships with veterinary schools and attending industry job fairs.
What You'll Do10
- 1Source, screen, and evaluate talent to build active and passive candidate pipelines for open clinical roles.
- 2Collaborate with hiring managers to draft and update job descriptions, determine staffing needs, and define hiring criteria.
- 3Manage job postings on Job Boards like Indeed and LinkedIn to attract qualified candidates.
- 4Manage a high volume of concurrent openings across multiple hospitals, prioritizing based on business need and time-to-fill targets.
- 5Utilize ATS and social media channels to engage and attract top talent.
- 6Prepare offer letters, administer background checks, and coordinate all onboarding steps.
- 7Ensure new hires get a well-rounded onboarding experience by scheduling check-ins during their first 90 days.
- 8Build rapport with operations hiring managers through regular candidate follow-up and clear communication.
- 9Build and maintain relationships with local schools and community organizations, and attend job fairs and hiring events.
- 10Stay current on organizational structure, personnel policies, and wage ranges to provide accurate guidance.
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 21-3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process, highly preferred.
- 3Experience in healthcare or veterinary industry is a plus, not required.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- 5Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
