What You'll Do10
- 1Determine specimen acceptability according to established criteria
- 2Execute routine and complex technical procedures following SOPs
- 3Maintain instrument functionality through monitoring and troubleshooting
- 4Make informed technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
- 5Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls
- 6Document accurate test results to support patient care
- 7Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- 8Identify and replenish testing bench supplies
- 9Assist with specimen processing when required
- 10Ensure workplace safety by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 2Minimum one year clinical laboratory testing experience
- 3ASCP or AMT certification
- 4One year experience with CBC Differentials
- 5Understanding of laboratory operations and policies
